OpScan Exam Grading
We offer OpScan Exam grading for all ECU Health Sciences faculty and staff.
Faculty can reserve physical and electronic materials so that they are available for their entire class.
Scholarly Communication is the cycle in which authors create, evaluate, disseminate, and preserve new knowledge. Librarians can assist in discovering research and grant opportunities, managing data, measuring impact, and more.
Systematic Review Service
Use our systematic review service when you need to go more in-depth into a research topic. The lengthy systematic review process aims to find and synthesize all of the scholarly research on a particular topic.
We can assist with or perform searches for you. We can also set up an auto-alert search with updates on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Contact your liaison librarian for assistance.
Professional Writing Consultation
Our Professional Writing Consultation service assists faculty writers from health-related programs with projects such as peer-reviewed articles, grant proposals, conference presentations, and other scholarly writing projects.
We can help you determine which journals are appropriate for publishing your topic in, locate their impact factors, and peer-reviewed status. Contact your liaison librarian for assistance.
We can help faculty, staff, and students comply with their responsibility to use materials in compliance with US Copyright law.

We provide resources and services related to data management plans, data repositories, agency requirements, and other related services.
Hold Service & Faculty/Staff Office Delivery
You can request items be retrieved for you from Joyner, Music, and Laupus Health Sciences libraries and pick them up at the service desk of your choice. Faculty and staff may also request delivery to their departmental offices.
Use our History Collections to research the history of health care and medicine in Eastern NC. We have a wide range of resources including rare book, manuscripts, artifacts, and more. Contact our archivist for assistance at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Accreditation of programs, schools, and departments often requires evidence of institutional resources to support programs, including library resources and services. We are happy to work with you to provide the information and statistics on library resources and services for reports requested by accrediting bodies. Contact your liaison librarian for assistance.
