On display through Aug. 21: Nature’s Remedies: Traditions of Botanical Medicine

The Laupus Library History Collections presents a new exhibit, “Nature’s Remedies: Traditions of Botanical Medicine,” currently on display in the Evelyn Fike Laupus Gallery on the 4th Floor of Laupus Library.

This display from The Country Doctor Museum explores the history of using herbs and other plants as remedies and preventatives. From botanical oils and apothecary tins to rhubarb and ginger, the exhibit showcases objects used by ordinary consumers, druggists and medical practitioners in their search for relief and well-being.
