Become a Friend of Laupus Library
Your tax-deductible membership dues are used to enhance the mission of Laupus Library by providing support for the library’s collections and programs, library-sponsored special events, activities and exhibits.
Special Books and Equipment
Friends help fund the purchase of special books, equipment, and other unique materials not possible through state funding.
Educational Exhibits
Friends help sponsor education exhibits for presentation in the Evelyn Fike Laupus Exhibit Gallery.
Special Events
Friends help sponsor library special events and activities that culturally enrich participants and highlight the achievements and success of the library and our constituents; including the annual Health Sciences Author Recognition Awards ceremony.
Library Publications
Friends help underwrite the cost of library publications and communications such as newsletters, annual reports and special brochures that are needed to tell the library’s story.
History Programs
Friends support Laupus Library History Programs, a developing library collection with a museum component. The History Collections of the Laupus Library collects, catalogs, preserves, and displays materials relevant to the history of health care. Materials of worldwide interest dating back from the sixteenth century into the twenty-first century are already a part of this growing collection.
Friends Operations
Friends support their own operating budget to fund the Annual Friends Membership Banquet, as well as printing and postage of marketing materials for the Friends of Laupus Library, and for other Library activities.

II. Corporate Friend: $1000
III. Distinguished Friend: $250-$999
IV. Principal Friend: $50-$249
V. Student Friend: $25
